<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system in which a generator can supply power stably to an important load when commercial power supply service is interrupted. <P>SOLUTION: In the cogeneration system where power is supplied to an important load and a general load from a non-utility generator and a commercial power supply and a circuit breaker interrupts power supply from the generator to the general load so that power is not supplied from the generator to the general load when commercial power supply service is interrupted, the cogeneration system is provided with a power controller comprising a means for predicting the service interruption of commercial power supply, and a regulator for keeping total power supply at a constant level by lowering the output level of the generator gradually to a level corresponding to the power consumption of the important load when the service interruption predicting means predicts the service interruption of commercial power supply and increasing the output level of the commercial power supply gradually by an amount corresponding to the lowered output level of the generator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
