<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia system that makes it easy to set, manage, and edit the timing when a character string and a still picture are displayed synchronously with a specified scene. <P>SOLUTION: A multimedia device is equipped with a time position property value inserting means of inserting a time position property value indicating the timing of emphasized display of the character string or still picture during reproduction of a moving picture into a tag of mark-up language data in which the character string or still picture is inserted into the tag having an identifier while relating the property value to the identifier and a moving picture synchronization processing means of performing emphasized display of the character string or still picture at a time position in the moving picture defined by the time position property value based upon the time position property value inserted into the tag of the mark-up language data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
