<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evenly scan a wide monitoring area with a laser light, to constitute a scanning part without using a polygon mirror, and to reduce the cost of a scanning part or improve maintenance properties. <P>SOLUTION: A surroundings monitoring apparatus 3, which projects a scan-like laser light from a work vehicle 2 toward the monitoring area and which receives the laser light reflected from an operator 4, is constituted so that the vortical scanning with the laser light projected toward the monitoring area is performed, in detecting the existence of the operator 4 on the basis of the light receiving level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
