PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacked loop antenna for UHF bands for expanding bandwidth, by optimizing the two parameters of horizontal length (loop width) to a reflector plate and vertical length (loop thickness) to the reflector plate. SOLUTION: The stacked loop antenna 1 for UHF bands is constituted of a 2L-type loop antenna 5 stacked in multi-stage, having the antenna element 5 for connecting a pair of loops 2a, 2b to a pair of straight lines 3a, 3b for feeding power to the loops 2a, 2b via the straight line; and having the reflector plate 6 arranged with a prescribed interval to the antenna element 5. In the stacked loop antenna 1, the sectional shape of an antenna element 5a for composing the loop sections 2a, 2b of the 2L-type stacked loop antenna 5 as basic structures connected in multiple stages is set to a quadrangle in which the slenderness ratio is 6:1-7:1.
