PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize an area being used when an information recording medium having a plurality of information recording areas accessed by different file systems is used. SOLUTION: Areas of the information recording medium 507 having the plurality of information recording areas 506 managed by different file systems are changed over by a display control part 502 and a recording medium control part 503; and information for clearly annunciating the information recording area 506 in use from the information recording medium 507 is displayed on a display part 501. In addition, an area changeover annunciation part 508 for annunciating the changeover of the areas to a user by the form of the display, sound, light or the like is provided.
