PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create variously modified electronic mail with a low processing load. SOLUTION: A control section 31 of a mobile communication terminal 21 generates two kinds of data which are data Da for output and data Db for editing as data representing the mail body. The data Da for output are data based upon a mark-up language and included in the electronic mail to be actually transmitted. The data Db for editing, on the other hand, are data having a different system from the data Da for output, and sequentially generated by user's operations when the mail body is created. During the creation of the mail body, the control section 31 calculates a rough data amount estimate based upon a data processing table TBL and reports it to the user.
