PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planter capable of simply conducting rooftop greening in a spacious area on a building, or the like, in a short period. SOLUTION: This planter 1 is used for growing a plant, wherein a netlike panel body 3 the area of which is greater than that of an upper surface of a planter body 2 is horizontally positioned over the upper surface of the planter body 2 and a vine plant is planted in the planter body 2. A plurality of the planters 1 thus prepared are together linked and arranged, so that a rooftop is greened by the vine plants which are grown by twining themselves round the netlike panel bodies 3.
