PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for catching and carrying dog dung or the like, which has an excellent shape and an excellent beautiful appearance, can be carried on the strolling of a dog, and can at hand perform all operations including the catching, carrying and discharging of dung. SOLUTION: A receiving container and a lid which have an approximately spherical shape or the like and are oppositely moved to be opened or closed are supported on both the sides of the tip of a long handle extended from a holder. The receiving container and the lid are connected to operation rods slidably disposed on the handle portion through links. When the lid covers by the operation of the operation rod disposed on the holder side, the receiver is upward directed at an angle approximately perpendicular to the handle. When the dung is discharged, the lid is opened in about parallel to the handle portion. The container can catch the dung at an about middle opening position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
