The object of this invention is to provide a method and a device for knitting a high long pile fabric with a medium and a long pile using a circular weft knitting machine, which could be knitted using only a warp knitting machine. In this respect, the high long pile fabric with a pile length of 30 to 40 mm is knitted using dial latch needles (DN>1<, DN>2<, DN>3<, DN>4<), JACK NEEDLES (CN>1<, CN>2<, CN>3<, CN>4<), and a knife needle (20) upwardly moved by the jack needles constituting the circular weft knitting machine. The high long pile fabric is applied to clothes and toys, and has an excellent appearance similar to a French structure. |
