<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce temperature difference of a power supply module while remarkably improving withstand load on a top surface. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicular power supply apparatus has compartments arranged in a plurality of lines by dividing an interior space of a battery case 2 with partitioning walls 5 and a plurality of power supply modules 1 are stored in the compartments respectively. The battery case 2 includes a cover plate 6 fixed above a top plate 7 and an exhaust duct provided between them. Further, the battery case 2 includes a supporting and dividing rib 19 positioned above the partitioning walls 5 and projecting upward from the top plate 7. The supporting and dividing rib 19 supports the cover plate 16 and divides the exhaust duct 13 into dedicated ducts arranged above the respective compartments 5. The power apparatus operates an air blast mechanism 3 to send cooling air into the respective compartments 5 of the battery case 2, and discharges the air flowing through the respective compartment to cool the power supply module 1 to the dedicated ducts arranged above the respective compartments 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
