GUIDING DEVICE FOR CURTAIN AIR BAG DEVICE, AND CURTAIN AIR BAG DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain air bag device and a guiding device therefor, facilitating attachment of a curtain guide member and a guiding member to a vehicle body.

SOLUTION: When an inflator 3 is actuated, a curtain air bag 1 is guided by an extending piece 10a of the curtain guide member 10, and deployed along an vehicular interior side of a pillar garnish 8. The rear portion of the deploying curtain air bag 1 is guided by a guide rod 5 through a link strap 7. The link strap 7 is moved downward along the guide rod 5 with starting of the deployment of the curtain air bag 1. The guide rod 5 and the curtain guide member 10 are temporarily united by a bolt 6.
