CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform distribution through streaming along a program guide in the same sense as ordinary radio broadcast or television broadcast without requiring an intricate edition work when streaming reproduction is carried out.

SOLUTION: When a client computer 1 transmits a program list delivery request PRG_REQ to a web server computer 2, the web server computer 2 creates a program list PRG which is send back to the client computer 1. Upon acquiring the program list PRG, the client computer 1 accesses a content distribution server computer 3 based on the program list PRG and then receives content DATA sent from the content distribution server computer 3 and reproduces the content DATA.
