<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security and to quickly determine characteristics specific to each biological body. <P>SOLUTION: A non-contact IC card 60 includes a second antenna 86 receiving electromagnetic waves, a second receipt part 80 converting the electromagnetic waves received by the second antenna 86 into electric power, a power source part 70 storing electric power, a sensor part 72 detecting characteristics specific to individual biological bodies, a biological body information storage part 74 storing information representing characteristics specific to a user, a personal authentication part 76 determining whether the characteristic detected by the sensor part 72 matches that represented by the information stored in the biological information storage part 74 or not, a storage part 68 storing the information, a control part 66 generating a signal when it is determined that the characteristic detected by the sensor part 72 matches that represented by the information stored in the biological body information storage part 74, and a first antenna 90 outputting electromagnetic waves corresponding to the signal generated by the control part 66 by means of a device different from the second antenna 86. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
