<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflectioon film of a multi-layered constitution which has superior film strength, contactness, and cracking resistance, and provide a polarizing plate and a display device which uses the same. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film is formed by providing a hard coat layer of 1 to 20 μm in thickness on at least one surface of a transparent supporting body and laminating two optical interference layers or intermediate-refractive-index layers in the order of a high-refractive-index layer, a low-refractive-index layer or three optical interference layers in the order of an intermediate-refractive-index layer, a high-refractive-index layer, and a low-refractive-index layer on the hard coat layer by coating each to a film thickness of 40 to 200 nm, and is characterized in that when a analysis of components in the depth direction from the surface is taken by ESCA, the time needed to sputter the low-refractive-index layer is 1.5 to 10 times as long as the time needed to sputter the high-refractive-index layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
