<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of unlocking operation that uses a tool such as driver, thus reducing working space. <P>SOLUTION: This wire connection device comprises a terminal block 2 for electrically connecting the indoor unit and the outdoor unit of an air conditioner to each other by an indoor/outdoor unit connecting wire 1; a terminal block fixture 6 for fixing the terminal block 2 in place; a lock mechanism for locking the connected indoor/outdoor unit connecting wire 1 so that it will not disconnect from the terminal block 2; a disconnect button 3 for unlocking the locking mechanism; and a rib 4 provided on the terminal block fixture 6 so that the disconnect button 3 can be pushed under pressure.
