PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search and reproduce motion image information with motion detection time information as an index from a huge amount of recorded image information in an image information recorder-player on plural inputs as well as a single input. SOLUTION: Processing for adding motion detection information from a recording stage is provided, and motion detection time information is separately recorded on a recording medium to improve searching efficiency. When the index-search is performed by means of the motion detection information, the motion detection time is searched, and reproduction is performed from the time information of the recorded image information which has been matched.
