PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral pump capable of suppressing the lowering of a pump efficiency. SOLUTION: This peripheral pump comprises a disk-like impeller 3 having a plurality of blade pieces 3a projected to the outside of a circular portion, a casing rotatably storing the impeller 3, and a motor rotating the impeller 3. A pump flow passage 19 in which the blade pieces 3a are moved in the circumferential direction of the impeller 3 having the blade pieces 3a, a suction flow passage 23 connecting the pump flow passage 19 to a suction port 21 for sucking a fluid into the casing 5, and a discharge flow passage connecting the pump flow passage 19 to a discharge port discharging the fluid in the casing are formed in the casing. Plate-like members 25 extending in a direction along the extending direction of the pump flow passage 19 are projectedly installed on the inner surface of the connection part 23b of the suction flow passage 23 with the pump flow passage 19.
