PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal polyester resin composition which can mold a molded article exhibiting an excellent light resistance even when being exposed with high-temperature and strong light rays, in particular the same rays from a xenon lamp and a high-pressure mercury vapor lamp. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprises [1] a liquid polyester resin of 100 pts.wt. and [2] a silica/cerium oxide composite filler of 0.1-10 pts.wt., wherein [2] the silica/cerium oxide composite filler contains 5-60 wt.% amorphous silica based on the weight of the composite filler, compositing onto the surfaces of the cerium oxide particles.
