METHOD FOR REPAIRING FURNACE WALL OF COKE OVEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a furnace wall of a coke oven capable of stably repairing the wall in a short time by a dry seal method independent of the cracked position of the wall by stabilizing the powder concentration of the dry sealing material in the carbonization chamber in a short time. SOLUTION: A crack 2 generated on the furnace wall between a carbonization chamber 1 and a combustion chamber of a coke oven is repaired by filling a refractory powder 12 to the crack. The filling of the powder is carried out by blasting the refractory powder into the carbonization chamber while keeping the pressure in the carbonization chamber to be higher than the pressure in the combustion chamber. The refractory powder is blown from the 1st or 2nd charging port from a side of coal charging ports 3-6 formed in a row from the pusher side to the quencher side at the upper part of the carbonization chamber and air is extracted from the 1st or 2nd charging port from the other side.
