<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file management system in which a user's erroneous operation is prevented when a file is deleted. <P>SOLUTION: The file management system comprises a file means for storing a file in a predetermined storage place, a file specifying means for accepting specification of a storage place and displaying a window capable of specifying an arbitrary file stored in a specified storage place, a means for setting a short cut entry for specifying the specified file in a window different from the window capable of specifying an arbitrary file stored in a storage place where the specified file is stored, and an arranging means for accepting a designation for deleting the specified file, altering the storage place of a file deletion of which is accepted if the short cut entry is set therein and altering the short cut entry set in that file depending on the altered storage place. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
