PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the number of parts and the number of processes are increased in a conventional deformation correcting method and, if wall thickness reducing processing is applied to a corner part as a measure for preventing the curling deformation of a panel shaping member made of a resin, the corner part reduced in wall thickness is damaged when an impact is applied to become impossible to absorb the impact. SOLUTION: This deformation correcting method of the panel shaped member made of the resin includes a process for shaping a fender 1 being the panel shaped member made of the resin having a gas injection channel 1c formed thereto and injecting the gas in the gas injection channel 1c after the fender is released to correct the deformation of the fender. This process for correcting the deformation of the fender 1 includes a process for injecting the heated gas heated to the softening temperature of the fender and a process for correcting the deformation of the fender 1 by the injection of the heated gas and subsequently injecting a cooling gas to cool and cure the fender 1.
