PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which can be used without any problem even when the setting of equipment is updated. SOLUTION: This information processor 1 is provided with an information storing part 20 for storing the equipment setting information of its own device and a program for operating its own device and a network I/F 30 and a firmware version deciding part 14 for, in receiving update data including the version information of the equipment setting information and the program, comparing the version information of the program included in the update data with the version information of the program of the update data of the information storing part 20. In deciding that the two version information is different from the comparison result of the firmware version deciding part 14, a version-up deciding part 15 updates the program and the equipment setting information, and in determining that the two version information is the same, updates the equipment setting information.
