AQUEOUS EMULSION CONTAINING FLUOROCARBON SILANE HYDROLYZATE AND OIL- AND STAIN-RESISTANT/WATER- AND OIL-REPELLENT COATED MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous emulsion affording a coating layer having low surface energy and excellent water and oil repellency and excellent oil- and stain-resistance. SOLUTION: The aqueous emulsion comprises the the following one or a plurality of kinds of fluorocarbon silanes having formula Rf-(CH2)p-Siä-(O-CH2CH2)n-OR1}3(wherein, Rfis a 3-18C perfluoroalkyl group; R1is a 1-3C alkyl group; p is 2-4; and n is 2-10) or partial hydrolyzates thereof in an amount of 0.1-20 wt.% based on the total weight of the aqueous emulsion, a surfactant for emulsifying the fluorocarbon silanes or hydrolyzates thereof, a pH adjustor for adjusting the pH of the aqueous emulsion to≥3 and metal oxide particles.
