PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device for elevator maintenance whereby maintenance operation can be carried out in an optional space near an elevator without varying a connection destination. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an operation part 6 having an operation switch 61; and a receiving part 7 installed in a hoistway 1, connected to a control panel 2 performing main control of the elevator, receiving a radio signal RS outputted from the operation part 6, and outputting a corresponding maintenance operation command receiving signal to the control panel 2. In addition to the operation switch 61, the operation part 6 is provided with an operation part control circuit 62 having a parallel/serial conversion circuit 62a and a radio circuit 62b, and an antenna 63 for outputting the radio signal RS. The receiving part 7 is provided with an antenna 71 for receiving the radio signal RS, a receiving part control circuit 72 having a radio circuit 72a and a serial/parallel conversion circuit 72b, and an output circuit 73 for outputting the maintenance operation command receiving signal to the control panel 2.
