PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal for an opening/closing body capable of enhancing the closing performance of the opening/closing body while sound shutoff performance, air-tightness, and water-tightness are enhanced. SOLUTION: The seal part of this seal for the opening/closing body is formed in a hollow U-shape of a cantilever type. Approximately in the center in the longitudinal direction of the seal part, a projection is formed on at least one of wall surfaces put in tight contact with each other when the opening/closing body is closed.
