PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel drive mechanism of an electronic apparatus with an escutcheon 6 mounted around a front part of a case 1 not interfering with a panel 3 in the electronic apparatus where the panel 3 is turnably fixed to an edge of a slider 2 provided at a lower part inside the case 1 so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus comprises the slider 2 provided at the lower part inside the case 1 so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction and the panel 3 rotatably supported by the edge of the slider 2 at its end and inclined to have a posture facing below a horizontal. When the slider 2 is projecting from the case 1 and moves into the case 1 from the condition of supporting the panel 3 postured to incline below the horizontal, the slider 2 moves to a position projecting at a predetermined distance from the case and the panel 3 is rotated to the direction of a horizontal position.
