PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor deposition film excellent in effect for imparting acid resistance to a vapor deposition layer and capable of being also used for packaging acidic food, in particular an acid-resistant vapor deposition film markedly reduced in deterioration after heat sterilization treatment. SOLUTION: In the vapor deposition film having a base material film and the vapor deposition layer, a layer comprising an acid resistance imparting agent, which contains a polyester resin having an aromatic carboxylic acid residue and/or a polyester/polyurethane resin having an aromatic carboxylic acid residue, is arranged on the surface of the vapor deposition layer or between the base material film and the vapor deposition layer.
