<p>A flame resistant thermoplastic resin composition comprising at least resin of plant origin (A) and flame retardant (B), characterized in that providing that W1 represents the mass% of resin of plant origin (A) and X1 represents the mass% of flame retardant (B) based on the total amount of the flame resistant thermoplastic resin composition, 30<=W1<55.5 AND 44.5<X1<=70, and that 90 mass% or more of the flame retardant (B) consists of a metal hydrate wherein the content of alkali metal substance is 0.2 mass% or less.</p>
