The step of creating a model of the facility, including position coordinates for major parts of the facility. The step of storing the model in a location system storage means. The step of identifying a component. The step of placing a mobile information processing device adjacent the component and detecting position coordinates for the mobile information processing de-vice. The step of storing identification information of the component and posi-tion coordinates of the mobile information processing device in the location sys-tem storage means.
