<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce print data as the most suitable XHTML-Print by adjusting desired functions of a printer for print output when ASP service to the printer compliant with the XHTML-Print is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal 100 comprises a Web browser 120, and a notification means 110. An ASP server 200 comprises an application software 210, a print data producing means 220, a print data storing means 230, a storing location notification means 240, and a print data output means 250. Upon notifying an identifier identifying a model of a printer 300 from the terminal 100 to the ASP server 200, the application software 210 and the print data producing means 220 produce print data as the XHTML-Print which satisfies the most suitable printing functions for the printer 300, and transmit the print data to the printer 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
