<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension measuring device which can secure straightness of a tape being transferred, always maintain a constant contact position on the tape to measure the tension, and highly precisely measure the tape tension even in a high speed tape travelling. <P>SOLUTION: The measuring section 27 contacting the magnetic tape 26 being transferred is made a fixed pin which does not rotate following the travelling magnetic tape 26, so that its precision in its production or attaching does not affect the straightness of the tape 26 as in the case of a conventional sensor roller. Since there is no factor such as revolution wobbling or vibration in the measuring section 27 destabilizing the tape travel as in the case of a conventional sensor roller when using a measuring section 27 with no revolving mechanism, the magnetic tape 26 being transferred can secure its straightness and the tape contact position of the measuring section 27 can always be maintained constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
