DATA STORAGE SYSTEM USING NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conquer a limit of storage capacity and to suppress virus damage.

SOLUTION: Data to be stored is uploaded to a data storage device 100 via a first network N1 using an agent program 12 installed to a terminal 10. Data uploaded to a data storage part 110 is stored as it is, however, data uploaded to a data storage part 120 is transferred to any of external storage places 210 to 230 via a second network N2 by a function of a data transfer processing part 130 and management information including URL of a storage place to be a transfer destination is stored in an IC card 11. When the data put in the data storage part 120 is required, the management information in the IC card 11 is provided to the data transfer processing part 130 and the data is downloaded to the terminal 10 upon transferring it from the storage place to be the transfer destination to the data storage part 120.
