PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric light line communication signal monitoring apparatus capable of easily monitoring an electric light line communication signal. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an electric line communication signal detecting apparatus 34 consisting of a circular ferrite core 34a into which an electric light line 33b for transmitting an electric light line signal is inserted, and a conductor line 34b wound around the ferrite core 34a and inducing the electric light line communication signal to the conductor line 34b; and a measuring instrument 35 for observing the electric light line communication signal. In this apparatus, since the electric light line communication signal induced in the conductor line 33b has been inputted into the measurement instrument 35, the waveform of the electric light line communication signal etc. can be easily monitored.
