摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a macromolecular optical waveguide by which a highly precise macromolecular optical waveguide is easily produced on a substrate. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the macromolecular optical waveguide includes the stages of:(1) forming a recess corresponding to an optical waveguide core projection part on a rubber layer made of rubber mold forming resin and at the recess, preparing a rubber mold made of a multilayer setting resin layer that is laminated by a rubber mold forming setting resin for equal to two layers or more having different rubber hardness, (2) adhering a clad material to the rubber mold, (3) filling core forming setting resin into the recess of the rubber mold to which the clad material is adhered, (4) setting the filled core forming setting resin, (5) peeling off the rubber mold from the clad material and (6) forming a clad layer on the clad material on which a core is formed.
