PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by dispensing with a selecting switch for turning off an input signal (multiplex signal) to a decoder. SOLUTION: A reception apparatus 1 comprises: a tuner management section 28 for monitoring whether or not decoding signals detected by tuners 12a and 12b interferes with each other; a frequency setting section 13b for setting a frequency of the signal detected by the tuner 12a or 12b to the frequency not to be interfered with the decoding signal detected by the tuner 12b or 12a if the tuner management section 28 detects that the decoding signals interfere with each other; and an RF signal gain control section 13c for controlling a gain of an RF signal so as to set the frequency of a detected signal by the frequency setting section 13b and to make the frequency of the RF signal lower than the gain of the RF signal in the steady state.
