PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operativity of a remote controller of a head-mounting display device. SOLUTION: The head-mounting display device including a video image display unit 30 placed in front of the eyes is equipped with an infrared ray receiver 31 for receiving infrared light emitted from the front of the display unit 30 on a surface opposite to the display surface of the video image display unit 30.
