PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment device for gas analysis which is superior in responsiveness. SOLUTION: A channelling plate 64, of a channelling element for restraining the flow of a sample gas in the cross-sectional central part of a ventilation chamber 76, is provided in an upstream of filter paper 68 of a filtration element inside the ventilation chamber 76, and stagnation of the sample gas inside the ventilation chamber 76 can be thereby solved, to remove efficiently contaminants contained in the sample gas by the filter paper 68.
