PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine stop control device capable of automatically stop an engine in an more appropriate timing. SOLUTION: This engine stop control device for a vehicle, used for stopping the engine when predetermined stop conditions are satisfied, obtains a detected vehicle speed Vf detected by a vehicle speed detector mounted on the vehicle, a brake master pressure F as a braking power of a braking device mounted on the vehicle, and a vehicle speed variation▵V as a degree of vehicle variation (S10). When a state that the detected vehicle speed Vf is zero is continued for a predetermined standby time A (S18), a vehicle stop plug is turned on (S20). When stop conditions including the stop plug ON are satisfied, an engine stop command is outputted to stop the engine (S24).
