PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust control device of a jet propulsion boat, for steering to the right and left in a similar fashion regardless of steering directions, by controlling to generate different thrust between right and left depending on steering directions of a steering device, in a steering assist technique of a thrust control device. SOLUTION: A jet propulsion boat has a water jet pump driven by an engine, and the boat propels when receiving the trust from the water jet pump. The thrust control device has: a throttle opening sensor 32 detecting a fully closing operation of a throttle; steering sensors 312L, 312R detecting a predetermined amount or more of the steering of the steering device and its direction; and an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) 30 for controlling the engine, so that the different thrust between right and left is generated in the water jet pump depending on the steering direction detected by the steering sensor 312L or steering sensor 312R, when a full open operation of the throttle is detected by the throttle opening sensor 32 and the predetermined amount or more of the steering is detected by the steering sensor 312L or the steering sensor 312R.
