PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound aluminum-alloy casting, whose toughness is excellent, and which does not cause seizure with a metallic mold. SOLUTION: The aluminum-alloy casting of high-toughness consists of≥2 wt% and≤4 wt% Si,≥0.2 wt% and≤0.5 wt% Mg,≥0.4wt% and≤0.8wt% Cu,≥0.2wt% and≤0.5wt% Fe,≥0.1wt% and≤0.3wt% Ti, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities.
