PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel which can smoothly perform lure action operations, when really angling for a fish, and has a structure for facilitating the operations without relating to the size of a hand. SOLUTION: This spinning reel in which a fishing line is wound on a spool 7 disposed in the reel body 1 by an operation for rotating a handle 5 disposed on the side of the reel main body 1 is characterized by disposing an auxiliary operation member for winding a fishing line on a driving shaft 41 rotated associated with an operation for rotating the handle 5 through a one-way clutch 50, disposing an auxiliary operation member-operating portion 40b at a position capable of being operated with the finger of a hand holding the spinning rod, making it possible to supplementally wind the fishing line on the spool 7 by the operation of the operating portion 40b, and making it to adjust a position for operating the operating portion 40b.
