PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cockroach-exterminating device which can surely exterminate cockroaches and the like, can be made at a low manufacturing cost, and can be used at a low running cost. SOLUTION: This cockroach-exterminating device has a flash lamp emitting UV rays in a wavelength range near to at least 185 nm, and is made to introduce ozone produced by the lighting of the flash lamp into a cockroach-exterminating region.
