PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paddy working machine driving and controlling line drawing markers 53R and 53L on both right and left sides of the machine body by relatively simple constitution with a simple driving gear. SOLUTION: A line drawing marker driving apparatus 82 performing operation to hold the right and the left line drawing markers in operating positions for drawing lines on the top soil surface and housed positions without drawing the lines by a simple operation means is equipped with the following. An actuator 85, a normally and reversely rotatable single cam 84, an operation linking member containing operation arms 80R and 80L for changing over the right and the left line drawing markers 53R and 53L to line drawing positions and standing positions according to the contact position of the cam 84 with the outer peripheral surface, a disk 89 provided with protrusions 89a integrally rotating with the cam 84, a plurality of switches 87 detecting the protrusions 89a provided in a plurality of sites on the outer periphery of the disk 89, determining that the cam 84 reaches the target rotating position and driving the actuator 85 or stopping the driving of the actuator 85, a support plate 88 having a pin 88a, integrally rotating with the cam 84 and performing a circular motion, a potentiometer 93 for detecting the position of the circular motion of the pin 88a, and a controller in which the switches 87 and the potentiometer 93 drive the actuator 85 or stop the driving of the actuator 85 according to the results of detection of the protrusions 89a and pin 88a, respectively.
