The ostomy coupling includes a locking ring (20) which expands temporarily under the action of the couplers being pressed together. The couplers are pressed together into locking engagement against the resilience of the locking ring, when the locking ring is in the lock position. An independent claim is also included for a coupler included in an ostomy coupling.
