METHOD OF RECYCLING TENT SHEETS CONTAINING PTFE INTO REUSABLE MATERIALS

A technique is suggested for converting tent sheets containing PTFE into reusable materials. A tent sheet containing PTFE is cut into a plurality of sheet pieces (C) of predetermined size by a shredding section (10) and supplied to the interior of a container (61). Then, a predetermined amount of sheet pieces (C) supplied to the container (61) are compressed with a predetermined pressure by a compression firing section (11) and the container (61) is heated to fire the sheet pieces (C) to provide a material. In such a manner, reusable material is obtained from tent sheets.
