<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material for lithium secondary batteries in which conventional problems such as particle size reduction caused by expansion and contraction of an alloy volume in charging and discharging, separation from a current collector, and a contact failure with conductive materials can be solved and the decomposition of the electrolyte at a negative electrode surface can be restrained. <P>SOLUTION: The negative electrode active material for the lithium secondary batteries is adopted which contains at least more than one kind of metal to be alloyed with lithium and hydrogen and inside which pores are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
