<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive high polymer film which is useful as a polyelectrolytic film for a solid high polymer type fuel cell and a direct methanol type fuel cell, and has an outstanding property, and its stable and inexpensive manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: By using the manufacturing method in which a high polymer film is immersed in an organic solvent for reaction comprising a sulfonation agent after the high polymer film is swollen in a swelling organic solvent, proton conductivity in the thickness direction of a sulfonation high polymer film using the swollen high polymer film becomes higher, when compared in the same sulfonation condition. Moreover, a proton conductive high polymer film having proton conductivity equivalent to a conventional one is formed with a smaller amount of a sulfonation agent and by a shorter period of reaction time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
