<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color electrophotographic apparatus in which, even in the case drive elements, each of which has a large diameter and ribs of multi-stages in the circumferential direction, are used, the cycle of the speed change of a photoreceptor is set to 1/integer of time between exposure and transfer, even when rib positions of the outer circumferential ribs and the inner circumferential ribs are coincident with one another, in addition, the amplitude of the speed change can be made almost coincident, and, accordingly, color misalignment is minimized. <P>SOLUTION: In the tandem type color electrophotographic apparatus in which the photoreceptor 1K is integrally driven by drive transmission elements 5K, 12K, and 94K, each having the ribs 13a and the ribs 13b of multi-stages in the circumferential direction, the outermost circumferential ribs 13 are equally spaced from each other, and a plurality of rib positions of the outermost circumferential ribs and the inner ribs 13b are coincident with one another. When an angle between exposure to transfer on the photoreceptor 1K is α and an angle between the equally spaced and coincident ribs is β, α≈n×β(n is an integer) is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
