<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament for treating autoimmune diseases accompanied by faulty MHC (major histocompatibility complex) class I antigen presentation, and to provide a method for determining the predisposition of a mammal for developing an autoimmune disease by testing biological samples from the mammals. <P>SOLUTION: The medicament for treating an autoimmune disease accompanied by faulty MHC class I antigen presentation includes cells expressing MHC class I antigen presentation, wherein, the MHC class I antigen presentation provides a complex inducing tolerance against the antigen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
