<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air diffuser which has a high oxygen dissolving efficiency and a small pressure loss, and can prevent the backflow of sewage during the stop of aeration. <P>SOLUTION: Mesh cloth 1 used as a diffusion face is made of cloth weaved with 10-100μm diameter yarns to have a mesh of 100-1,000 and an opening size of 5-200μm. Preferably the mesh cloth is composed of two layers. A first layer 11 is made of the cloth weaved with 10-100μm diameter yarns to have a mesh of 100-1,000 and an opening size of 5-200μm. A second layer 12 accumulated thereon is made of cloth that comprises fibers having a larger strength per unit cross-sectional area than that of the fibers of the first layer and is weaved with 30-200μm diameter yarns to have a mesh of 10-200 and an opening size of 50-800μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
